It is important to note that the information provided by you may be passed to one or more finance lenders, who may conduct a search of records held by credit reference agencies. It is important that the information you give regarding your application is true, accurate and a full disclosure of all relevant information.

Commission disclosure

Does RightDrive receive commission?

Yes. RightDrive (UK) LTD t/a RightDrive Car Finance is paid by the lender, and we think you should know exactly how that works before you apply.

The lender pays us, not you

The lender typically pays us a commission for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or the amount you borrow. We do not charge you a fee for our services.

Fixed fee or fixed percentage

Whichever lender we introduce you to, we will typically receive commission from them based on either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow.

Rates are set by the lender

All interest rates are set by the lender concerned and are individual to each customer. Our commission does not influence the interest rate you are offered in any way.

Searches on your credit file

Because you apply through us as a credit broker, credit checks may appear on your file lodged by finance companies you have not dealt with directly. Those agencies record details of such searches, which may be seen by other lenders assessing future applications from you or members of your household.

All finance applications are subject to status. Terms and conditions apply. UK residents only, 18s or over. Guarantees may be required.

Basis of our service

What our service does and doesn't cover

Understanding your demands and needs

We have taken steps to ensure that if, in the course of advising you, we make a recommendation, that recommendation will be suitable for your demands and needs at the time it is made. In assessing this we may seek information about your personal circumstances and objectives so we can identify your requirements. It is important that you provide us with accurate and relevant information.

No advice or recommendation is given

You WILL NOT receive advice or a recommendation from us for insurance or finance products. We may ask some questions to narrow down the selection of products that we provide details on. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed.

Your protection

If something goes wrong, here's what to do

We always aim to provide a first class service. However, if you have any cause for complaint, you can raise it by email, in writing or by telephone. Should you remain dissatisfied, you have the right to ask the Financial Ombudsman Service to review your case.
